Our all-volunteer team reaches out to low and no income people in the East Oakland community who have pets and need assistance accessing low-cost veterinary care, affordable spay and neuter services, and food as well as other supplies. We also help with emergencies on a case-by-case basis. People pay what they can reasonably afford. Barter of services also counts toward payment for people with skills that can help us grow. Minny
Minny was found near MacArthur Blvd. with a broken leg. Young Minny received the surgery and aftercare she needed and healed with no dimming of her sparkling personality! Once her cast came off and her leg was pronounced healed, Minny's new Mommy took her on a boat ride, and they both loved it.
